Meet UFTUFT (Utopian Future Technologies) was a startup* developing a platform for Demand Responsive Transport for private and public transport compagnies. The platform includes a rider app with a user-friendly interface that lets passengers self-manage their journey, a Driver app that connects drivers with their vehicles and tasks, and a software for agents to have a clear overview of current operations.
*Bought in 2020 by Losch. The platform is now known as Savvy Mobility, the brand identity as changed, but the UI design remains similar.
UFT design principles
Flexibility
UFT is a platform used by clients with their own branding. It was important to make the UI design system easily adaptable so every client can offer a tailor made solution to the end-users.
Accessibility
Accessibility has always been a priority for UFT, especially when one of their biggest clients was operating Demand Responsive Transportation for people with disabilities. The whole UI system has been designed to be WCAG compliant.
Consistency
UFT is a platform that includes 3 separated apps. The apps individual design systems are consistent with one another, and reflects the brand identity of UFT or the client.
