Women start businesses at lower rates than men. They earn less for the same work, get less funding for their startups, and feel less confident in their abilities. Statistically, they’re still taking on the vast majority of child care and household responsibilities.
Thankfully, there’s a growing number of female-run businesses out there that are ready to change the world. And there are more being founded every day.

folio’s visual identity is made to be flexible and to adapt to all needs.
Various color combinations and logo variations are available to create a dynamic yet consistent brand identity.
Playful
folio is a serious brand that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Tackling complex marketing concepts, it uses symbolic and quirky illustrations, as well as a colorful color palette to make those concepts approachable.
Intentional
folio is a brand with a mission, that is reflected in its visual identity.

The challenge and objective :
For this project, the objective was to develop a brand identity that reflected folio’s playful personality, yet enhancing that its expertise can be trusted.
The goal was to help its founder Liesa find the perfect match between elegant typefaces, a colorful palette, and quirky illustrations. The result is a creative and expressive brand, with consistency by design that helps it stay grounded.
